This library was originally founded as the ‘Library of the House of Persia Community & Cultural Centre’ in 2017. It has since expanded to include other Australian-Iranian community libraries that are aligned with its objectives and values.
It currently services House of Persia (HOPE), Australian-Iranian Society of Victoria (AISOV) and the Iranian Cultural School (ICS).
LIBRARY REGULATIONS

--------Membership-------
Free membership for the public.
A refundable bond of $20 applies at the time of joining. This bond will be refunded on termination of your membership subject to no outstanding fees.
You can terminate your membership at any time subject to the return of all borrowed items and no outstanding fees.
AusIran Community Libraries reserves the right to terminate your membership at any time by giving you sufficient notice. This may occur as a result of you not fully observing the Library rules and regulations.
Membership card replacement fee: $3
---------Borrowing---------
Members can borrow up to 3 books at any given period.
Each book/item can be borrowed for an initial period of maximum 3 weeks.
This can be extended for another 3 weeks if not reserved by another member.
------Fees & Charges------
Late fee: $2 per week (or part thereof)
Lost or damaged fee: Cost of the item plus $5 administration fee.
Lost Membership Card replacement fee: $2
